ED’s OME supported High School Equivalency Program (HEP) and College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) grantees through two main activities: the Annual Directors Meeting (ADM) and the Mentoring Initiative. Safal organized the ADM, handling logistics, designing materials, and analyzing participant feedback. For the Mentoring Initiative, Safal recruited subject matter experts, facilitated meetings, and managed logistics for site visits. These efforts enhanced OME's support for approximately 100 HEP/CAMP programs, improving services for migrant and seasonal farmworker students.
