ED OCTAE initiated a project to enhance Integrated Education and Training (IET) opportunities for adults. Safal co-led efforts to deliver a national technical assistance series of IET program design camps based on an IET program toolkit. The project involved developing content aligning Workforce Innovative Opportunity Act (WIOA) legislation with OCTAE's vision and creating a replicable model for WIOA-eligible IET programs. Safal led the instructional design and content development for the design camp materials, including presentation decks, facilitator guides, and participant guides.
