Additional Days School Year Initiative
The TEA Additional Days School Year (ADSY) initiative addressed summer learning loss and unfinished learning due to the global pandemic. Safal provided design and implementation technical assistance to local education agencies pursuing full-year redesign. The project involved leading campuses through a year-long strategic planning process, enhancing leaders' capacity for change management, and reimagining the school year with 30 additional instructional days. Safal supported stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and sustainability planning to ensure successful implementation across participating districts.
