The George W. Bush Institute (GWBI) improved principal preparation programs through the Alliance to Reform Education Leadership. GWBI engaged Safal to create a roadmap for developing online training modules to enhance principals' skills as school leaders and talent managers. Safal established the need for these modules, created a community of experts in principal leadership development, and developed an instructional framework focused on performance management. The project resulted in an initial plan for module content, delivery mechanisms, and budget.
