Client Goals

The purpose of the Registered Apprenticeship (RA) Academy Support is to provide online learning pathways for key apprenticeship system stakeholders, including Registered Apprenticeship Program Sponsors, Registered Apprentices, DOL-funded investment partners, State Apprenticeship Agencies, Federal Partners, DOL Office of Apprenticeship staff, and more. Courses will be delivered through a variety of modalities to expand training accessibility.

Safal Approach

The overarching goals of this contract are fourfold: (1) to build resources to reach a diverse set of RA practitioners (sponsors, apprentices, DOL-funded investment partners, state apprenticeship agencies, federal partners, DOL Office of Apprenticeship staff, and more) with education and training that is standardized, accessible, and scalable in a manner that provides ongoing adaptability and flexibility; (2) to provide learning that is multi-modal and will utilize a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online, on-demand, and blended (instructor-online) courses to deliver training; (3) to create a Participants’ Resource Repository to enable RA practitioners to have a learning pathway to enable them to contribute to the RA ecosystem; and (4) to measure, evaluate, and assess the effectiveness of the RA Academy in delivering learning to RA stakeholders.

Through the Registered Apprenticeship (RA) Academy, RA stakeholders will gain access to learning experiences that are not only accessible but also impactful and tailored to the diverse roles within the National Apprenticeship System, contributing to the achievement of operational need and goals.
