Michelle is Senior Director, Adult Education, CTE, and Workforce Development, at Safal. Michelle brings more than 20 years’ experience in education and workforce spans working with diverse stakeholders at the local, state, and national levels. Before joining Safal Partners, Michelle supported several states—Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, New Mexico, and South Carolina–to support adult education, career pathways, and professional development initiatives.
Michelle has a demonstrated knack for engaging key stakeholders to garner input and build relationships. While the Adult Education State and Associate State Director in Kansas, Michelle directed multiple federal and state initiatives such as OCTAE’s Standards in Action national dissemination project, the US Department of Labor-funded Career Pathways Initiative, and the US Health & Human Services HPOG grant known as the Kansas Health Professional Opportunity Project. With Safal she leads adult education, CTE, and workforce development projects including serving as the Project Director for the Texas Education Agency’s CTE Resource Integration Project. Michelle holds a M.S. in Adult and Continuing Education from Kansas State University.
